ABOUT THE PROJECT

When the owner of this new local kid’s store approached us to build out the interior of her new shop in Mt. Kisco, we couldn’t resist.  How often do you get a chance to build a kid sized camper anyway?!  The existing shop was designed for artisanal oils (primarily olive). With a European country flavor and wall to wall glass shelving, this was not a kids destination.  Additionally, a limited budget kept design documents to a minimum and, as with any retail space, getting the doors open was an immediate priority!

OUR SOLUTION

The shop, All Together Now, is a multi-functional space showcasing local and environmental healthy products and businesses.  The retail area at the front of the store brings in foot traffic, the photo studio/event space at the rear of the store has its own entrance and between the two, the mini Camper Van anchors the play space!  With an open floor plan and a 6′ barn door, the space can easily be enlarged or divided depending on the days activities.  Designed by Natasha Habermann, this local gem will be a welcome edition to the neighborhood.
