ABOUT THE PROJECT

This 1 bedroom Upper East Side apartment hadn’t been touched in almost 30 years.  With over 400 sq ft of outdoor space the potential was almost tangible.  It just needed some overdue TLC.

OUR SOLUTION

As a first time homeowner, our client was looking to create a space to call his own as well as an oasis that he could retreat to with his soon to be fiance.  The apartment was completely gutted.  New maple floors were installed, solid core doors hung and the tiled ceiling was replaced with new sheetrock.  New floors and cabinets were installed in the kitchen, accented by under cabinet and in-cabinet lighting.  The bathroom tub was removed and replaced with a custom shower complete with body sprays.  The chain link fence in the patio was replaced with Mahogany panels clear sealed to preserve their natural beauty.  Finally, custom radiator enclosures were created along the windows to hide the mechanical units as well as provide large window sills and precious storage space.
